Search Tag Hierarchy

By selecting the 'Tag groups' node in the Navigation Pane it’s now possible to search in all tags in all Tag groups.

Search Tags matching text anywhere in the tag name

Tag search will now match text anaywhere in the tag name.

View files and folders of child/linked tags

• Tagged files and folders of a tag and off all its child tags can be shown in the Folder View.

• Tagged files and folders of a tag and off all its linked tags can be shown in the Folder View.

SmartView Extensions:

• Expanded with (AND) (OR) (NOT).

• Include files and folders of child/linked tags in the result.

Minimize Tags pane

The Tags pane can now be minimized.

Option Sets (for e.g. Document status)

A tag can now become an 'option set', making every child and linked tag part of the option set.

Custom Icons

Custom icon packs can now be selected and used.

Export to CSV
 

Export all opened Tag Groups, a single Tag Group or a single Tag to a CSV file.

• Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+’+’ (Add or select a Tag in the Tag pane) is broken.
• Properties dialog of a Tag Group does not show the name of the Tag Group and displays the incorrect
  creation and modification date.
• In some rare cases the Properties dialog of a Tag Group crashes the Windows File Explorer.
  

Tag files everywhere, shared Tagging

• Share Tags and links to files and folders ona LAN or any cloud storage provider (e.g. OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
• Use the shared tags on multiple locations or collaborate with colleagues.

Restore removed

• Tagging for Windows now can restore removed Tags and accompanied links between the Tags and Files/Folders or other Tags. Even if only links have been removed, they can be restored.
• The Tags and links can be restored based on their date and time of deletion.

Merge Tags

• With Tagging for Windows, it is nowpossible to merge tags. This is especially useful if duplicate tags have been created. Also non-duplicate tags can be merged.

Useability improvements

• New shortcuts are added to improve ease of use.
• Tag files or folders by dragging and dropping them on a Tag.
